LIGHT UPON LIGHT {NUURUN ALAA NUURIN}
An-Nuur {The Light} is one of the 99 Beautiful names of Allah and is a multi-faceted phenomenon that can be further learnt in details from Adepts and Mystics. Indeed, GOD guides to His light whomsoever He wills.
“Suratu-n-Nuur {Q24:35}” also describes the Light of Allah with the following phrase: “LIGHT UPON LIGHT {NUURUN ALAA NUURIN}”.
Light upon Light can simply be understood to be a greater form of referring to Allah’s Light.
A simple illustration of Light upon Light is evident in the comparison of the Light of the Christians and the Jews and that of the Muslims.
The Light of the Christians and Jews are incomplete and the Light of the muslims, which I call Light upon Light is the most complete Light.
This can be easily proofed by the fact that the Christians and the Jews believed in their messengers alone.
But the Muslims believe not only in their messenger, they believe in all the 313 Messengers and the 124,000 prophets in general.
And this is one of the six articles of the Islamic Faith in which every muslim must abide by.
THE TIJANI PATH {TAREEQAT AT-TIJAANIYAH} AS THE LIGHT UPON LIGHT PATH
Tareeqat at-Tijaniyya is the End-time path in which Allah guides the Ummah {Community} of Prophet Muhammad.
The Tareeqa Tijaanii can be regarded as the Path of LIGHT upon LIGHT because of the Khaatim al-Wilaayah {Seal of Sainthood} pedestal of the Shaykh Ahmad bn Muhammad Saalim at-Tijaanii {RTA}.
Shaykh Ahmad Tijani {RTA} said that his feet are on the shoulders of all Awliyya {Saints} i.e. All the saints that were present in his time {1737-1815}, all those that were before him and all other saints till Judgment day.
Another illustrious phenomenon that can further show that the Tijani path is indeed the Light upon Light path is the Manifestation of Shaykh Ahmad at-Tijani’s prediction of the Flood which was to appear amongst his followers at the End time, through which people will troop into the path in their multitude.
This Flood appeared to be the Saahib al-Faedah {Shaykh al-Hajj Ibraheem Niyaas “Al-Kawlahy” (RTA)} who proselytized the path throughout the whole world and he also serves as Guiding-lamp for all muslims.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
I once dreamt of a Light pursuing me and was about to descend upon me, I was running from it and I was reciting the Qur’aanic verse I call Light upon Light verse in “Suratu-n-Nuur {Q24:35}”.
I jumped on my mother’s bed and the Light descended upon the boy sleeping next to me and he began to tell me about my past, and this seemed to me to be true.
Some months later, the boy who was just a normal Christian became a staunch devotee in his religion.
I therefore infer from this dream that truly the Light descended upon him, but the Light was an incomplete one.
I also understood the reason why the Prophet encouraged us to invoke Allah to grant us Light upon Light.
Being a member of the Ummah {Community} of Prophet and the Follower of Shaykh Ahmad at-Tijaani are the best gifts that anyone can be bestowed with, because Islam is the religion of Light upon Light and the Tijani path is the path of Light upon Light.
NUMERICAL PROOF THAT SHOWS THAT THE TIJANI PATH IS THE LIGHT UPON LIGHT PATH
-The Numerical Value of the phrase “Nuurun alaa Nuurin {Light upon Light}” is 622.
-The additional Numerical Value of ALLAH, RAHMAN and RAHEEM is 622.
-The additional Numerical Value of ALLAH, MUHAMMAD and TIJANI is 622.
DEDUCTIONS FROM THE NUMERICAL PROOFS
It’s evident that the Numerical Values of the statement and names above synchronizes.
The above names of Allah i.e. {ALLAH, RAHMAN and RAHEEM} are ismu-llahi-l-Ahzam {with which when one calls the Creator with He answers, and when one asks Him by them, He answers}.
The Numerical Value of ALLAH, MUHAMMAD and TIJANI also adds up to 622.
This shows that the Light that reflects out of these names is a complete and perfect one.
And the Light upon Light that reflects from these names shows that Islam is the most complete Deen and the most complete Tareeqah is Tareeqat at-Tijaaniyah {Tijani Path}.
END NOTE
The Tareeqah Tijaniyyah is the End-time Tareeqah {Path}.
It’s completeness also manifests from the fact that Tijanis respect and love all the Saints.

I’m only trying to point out the Numerological miracle that shows that the Tariqah Tijaniyyah is the Path of Light upon Light. *
Oh Allah! Place within our Hearts Light, upon our Tongues Light, within our ears Light, within our eyes Light, place above us Light, beneath us Light, on our right Light, on our left Light, before us Light, behind us Light, place Light within our souls. Magnify Light for us, make Light abundant for us, grant us Light, make us Light. Oh Allah! Bestow upon us Light, place Light in our Tendons, in our flesh Light, in our Blood Light, in our Hair Light, in our Skin Light. Oh Allah! Place Light for us in our graves, Light in our bones, Increase us with Light and grant us LIGHT UPON LIGHT, ameen.
